My background as a modern contemporary scottish landscape and seascape painter. Since graduating from duncan of jordanstone college of art, dundee, in 1990, jonathan mitchell has developed a considerable reputation as a painter of the scottish landscape with his work. I did drawing and painting in edinburgh college of art and then worked in ceramics and music untill i began working as a full time artist in 1988.
